Dr. Bill Richeimer
Ophthalmologist, Cataract & Refractive Surgeon,

Dr. Richheimer is one of the foremost experts in LASIK, Cataracts, Corneal Transplantation, and other eye surgeries, earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, followed by his Medical Doctor (MD) degree from Duke University. Dr. Richheimer pursued an Internal Medicine Internship in Denver, Colorado. He completed an Ophthalmology Residency in San Francisco, CA, at the prestigious California Pacific Medical Center. He then completed a Cornea, Refractive Surgery, and External Disease fellowship at the renowned Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
After years of travel, Dr. Richheimer is proud to call Denver his home. He continues to volunteer and teach in our local community and abroad. Dr. Richheimer has performed hundreds of eye surgeries in Guatemala. He has also visited Nepal to teach corneal transplantation and perform cataract surgery. Dr. Richheimer further volunteers and teaches here at Denver Health Hospital. In 2009, he was awarded the Volunteer Faculty Teaching Award by the Ophthalmology Residency Program at the University of Colorado for his work teaching corneal transplantation.
